Commercial Lines Account Placement Advocate
Executes collaborative, organizational, and administrative teaming proficiencies in contributing to the achievement of timely and accurate delivery of Commercial Lines Marketing and Account Placement services to Renaissance Alliance member agencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (others may be assigned)
Monitors and coordinates internal administrative commercial lines marketing and account placement processes for a group of member agencies in close collaboration with their Renaissance Alliance Account Coordinators.
Reviews new submissions received twice daily to identify and communicate to Commercial Lines Account Coordinators timely information regarding risks that may require priority marketing and placement due account size, specialty market needs, and/or quotation target date requirements.
Assists Account Coordinators in advocating risks for successful placement to RAIS Carrier Representatives and acquiring and delivering new business and remarketed renewal quotations to Alliance member agencies within required timeframes by performing the following tasks:
In the absence of Account Coordinators or upon their request and direction, contacts agents to obtain outstanding submission data or to communicate timely submission status details and/or circumstances to maximize successful placement, pricing, and delivery of quotations.
Monitors receipt of supplemental submission documentation, updates submissions tracking management and document imaging systems, and appropriately communicates updated submissions status to Account Coordinators.
Updates submission tracking report criteria and produces and distributes appropriate status reports to Alliance Operations Management, Account Coordinators, and/or Alliance member agencies as required.
Assumes liaison responsibility between Account Coordinators and internal Marketing and Account Placement team members to promote appropriate collaboration and insure timely and accurate representation and advocacy of risks to potential markets and insurance carriers
Performs quality control review of all submission data for assigned Alliance member agencies prior to regularly scheduled Account Coordinator onsite service visits
Collaborates with appropriate team members to obtain pertinent information of pending submissions and advises and updates Account Coordinators as appropriate to insure delivery of accurate submission status information to member agencies.

Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree and/or training; 2-3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Knowledge of Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance preferred.
