Marketing Assistant

SUMMARY
Provides assistance and marketing administration in support of the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Sales & Marketing Team of Renaissance Insurance Group (RIG)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Collaborates with all appropriate RIG functional teams as required. Represents Sales & Marketing Team as a member of appropriate RIG cross-functional project teams.

Records and maintains accurate and timely broker and prospect records in appropriate databases including, but not limited to, initial file documentation, updating, monitoring and tracking of current producer license information and validation of required producer and/or broker certifications, recording and filing documents as required. Must be proficient in Prophet.

Coordinates Sales & Marketing calendars, schedules appointments, and acts as Sales & Marketing administrative contact for RIG prospects, brokers, and agents.

Participates in planning and coordination of trade show exhibits, RAIS Annual Meeting and other meeting planning including promotions, packaging, shipping, and staff travel plans, and travels to and participates in when necessary.

Coordinates prospect, training, and continuing education events including organizing and producing meeting materials, evaluation and selection of training sites and supporting services, engagement and scheduling of presenters, management, and seminar staff. Coordinates and manages registrations and resolves of event day issues and/or emergencies.

Coordinates direct mail campaigns, surveys and other marketing communications utilizing standard mail, Constant Contact and other email vehicles. Participates in the ordering of promotional materials and coordinating gifts for trade shows and meetings. Maintains and edits data bases as needed.

Orders business cards, stationary and names badges for employees.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or at minimum of two years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Windows 2000 or higher required. Experience in Microsoft Project and graphics applications such as Corel Draw desired but not required.
