Sr. Staff Accountant
Applies the principles of accounting within the assigned area of accounting. Creates and interprets complex financial statements and reports. Analyzes complex financial data and reports on the results and probable implications. Compiles financial information, processes journal entries into various accounts, and reconciles reports and financial data. Some familiarity with and an awareness of the laws and regulations that apply to an accounting function are required to ensure compliance. Possesses knowledge of the financial accounting systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Develops and maintains thorough knowledge of all finance and accounting software applications to insure efficiencies and to maximize utilization of the available technology to support the departmental processes and procedures.
Performs daily and monthly general ledger account analysis and reconciliation and resolve differences
Prepares monthly journal entries including standard, recurring, accruals and adjustments.
- Monitors inter-company payables and receivables.
- Maintains asset & liabilities supporting schedules
- Performs monthly bank reconciliations on all RIG, LLC bank accounts
- Prepares monthly trial balance sheet reports
- Prepares and distributes monthly RIG, LLC account current to appropriate parties
- Prepares Renaissance Alliance commission reports
- Prepares and distributes monthly invoices to appropriate parties
- Prepares audit schedules and documentation prior to audits,and upon request.
- Provides backup, support and direction to other members of the financial services and accounting team as required (cash receipts, cancellations, accounts payables, billing, invoices)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or at least two years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven proficiency in spreadsheet software applications such as Microsoft Excel and Access. Other applications required: Windows 2000 or higher, Microsoft Word, Great Plains Dynamics, and others.
