Rating Upgrades
The Renaissance Insurance Plan is pleased to announce that A. M. Best has issued upgrades for two insurance company subsidiaries of our workers’ compensation partner, Meadowbrook Insurance Group (MIG). Both Star Insurance Company and Savers Property & Casualty Insurance Company were upgraded from B+ ratings to B++. A copy of Meadowbrook's press release announcing this upgrade is attached.
Those of us who deal with MIG on a daily basis have long been aware of its increasingly strong underwriting and operating results and financial strength which have now been affirmed by the industry's leading rating organization. With future favorable financial results during the remainder of 2005, we look forward to future upgrades. In addition to bolstering Star and Savers financial strength in the eyes of your clients, this upgrade should help when it comes to providing umbrella coverage for our insureds.
