Minuteman Insurance Company, Ltd. is a Bermuda-based captive insurance company that was formed in 1996 in support of The Renaissance Plan. Minuteman is owned and operated by a group of independent Renaissance Insurance brokers, some of their key employees, and several staff of Renaissance Insurance Agency, Inc.
Minuteman reinsures a portion of all business written by The Renaissance Plan on a quota-share basis. Ownership of the captive is limited to qualified insurance agents or brokers that write workers' compensation insurance via The Renaissance Plan. J. Bruce Cochrane is President and the largest single stockholder of Minuteman. He is joined by a group of highly professional investor agents who were selected for their years of experience in the insurance industry, their integrity, and their commitment to providing exemplary services and products to their clients.
